Paul Giamatti to Replace Sean Penn?

Possibly, but not likely.
Since Sean Penn announced that he was dropping out of the Hollywood lights and the highly anticipated film Three Stooges, we've all been wondering who will replace him.
One rumor being thrown around suggests Paul Giamatti to play the iconic Larry character in the trio.
Brother directors Bobby and Peter Farrelly were recently interviewed and when Paul was mention, Bobby responded that he would make a "sensational Larry."
We can see it… kind of.

Man, I am SO disappointed that Sean has dropped out of his role in Three Stooges. He was PERFECT for the role, and I was really looking forward to seeing the film because of his participation in it.

Don't ask how I know, but Brad Pitt is considering doing the movie. I think that that would be kind of funny/lame, but the movie is going to be lame anyway so might as well get Brad out of his comfort zone!

honestly i think it's goo he stepped away fromt he role. Eveyrthing I have ever seen sean penn, he has had a serious part. I think he is good at stuff like that. It would have been great to see him try at comedy, but i would think he'd do seriousness so much better
Sean Penn is an Amazing person. I love how he takes things on that are wrong with this world. It's only natural that he would give up two movies to fix his family life. I agree with him, family first. I have such great respect for this man!
