Jon and Kate Gosselin have ruined the reveal of their "life changing decisions" by filing for a legal split on the day of their highly anticipated show!!
The documents, which were filed at Bucks County Courthouse in Reading, Pennsylvania on Monday afternoon, will end the couple's ten year marriage!
No surprise here!!!!!
We think the drama is far from over though.
A custody battle with 8 kids?!
Sounds like with this amount of drama, the show will likely continue.

I don't usually write on these sites but Jon infuriates me. He's so passive and bland he could be sitting there unconscious and who would know the difference? Yes Kate is aggressive and controlling and over bearing. But she's also strong and has personality. It seems like she over compensates for being with such a weak dull man. Why can't he just a) get a back bone b) develop a personality and c) take responsibility and d) GROW UP?? He let her walk all over him, then whines about it. he's so unemotional and cold that he shouldn't be allowed to have kids. and is the world forgetting that this man is a cheater who leaves his kids to vacation constantly. what Dad of 8 is vacationing all over the country?? he's just so repulsive! Kate's better off. hopefully she gets custody!

I have to say, it happens. You can't blame either one of them. Things just don't work out. Headstrong one vs the Quiet one. The quiet one has finally has created a voice, which should of been done from the beginning. Shame it happened at the end. But like I said what can you do.
I had to deal with divorce when I was 7. It hurt, but I think if my parents would of stayed together, it would of gotten worse in front of me.

NO CUSTODY BATTLE. They are sharing custody. Kate will live in the house with the kids and when Jon has custody, he will live in the house with the kids and Kate will go elsewhere then return home after his time with them is up. Jon will have to learn to be a man and think for himself. He is a little boy in a man's body.

Really? Like we're shocked at this. Kate is a horrible person, and I certainly hope that Jon gets custody of all 8 kids. I mean, he's not a saint in this situation, but certainly, he's better than Kate, who as we all saw, denied Mady a drink of water on camera. I just watched the episode and this is what I saw: A lazy 32-year old man making up excuses and being contrary to his wife because he was trying to wear the pants finally. I also saw an hour long commercial for the playhouses they were building. It's sad that this is what their lives are now: commercials for all the free shit they get. Jon Gosselin claims to do "what's best for his kids". Is getting a ONE BEDROOM Manhattan apartment best for his eight kids? I see 8 therapists making ALOT of money in few years.

OK, I do have to say, as a child of divorced parents, that I am SO PROUD of them for the living arrangement they are entering into. Having the kids in ONE home where the parents will come and go is THE BEST thing they could have done given the circumstances. Absolutely WONDERFUL of them to do it this way if it needs to be done.
Also, I would not be surprised if they got back together in the future.
Honestly, I don't think there will be a custody battle. I think Kate will get full and Jon will get weekend visitation. I think this is very sad though! if they can't stay together…who can!!!

I watched the episode tonight and God it was painful watching Jon trying to grow a dick. From what ive seen over the past seasons, Kate did emasculate Jon A LOT, but he hardly ever asserted himself. he would just sit there and he did behave like her 9th child. But, like Ive said before she was a major bitch to him and is very controlling.
I think after the show became popular Jon started hanging around with new people. Particularly, men that werent tied down with a family. Then he started reading all the negative things people would say about him being 'whipped" or whatever. That added with the reinforcement from his new group, he started going out to the bars and started acting like a total douche. he even said, kate acted liike the head rooster or something like that, and then he went on to say something like "not anymore" and "im proud of myself for putting my foot down"
Jon is total TOOL and will let anyone tell him what to do, he has no original thought. I really think he is completely clueless on the repurcussions of his decision and will regret it.
I just cant get over what a moron and loser this guy is. I understand Kate was a bitch but I really think she was willing to make an honest effort to change. When you have 8 kids, you give it more effort than Jon did.
I watched the show tonight. My heart just went out to the whole family. I have watched the show for over a year and have seen most of the reruns. Those kids are adorable, I just wished it could have turned out better for them. Kate has got a hard road ahead of her and Jon won't be there alot.

I never understood it! None of my friends did either! At least we had a SHRED of privacy. It's hard enough being a child and going through your parents divorce. Your family and everyone you know PERSONALLY hassles you about it. But the whole WORLD? Wow. I may be the only one, but I am saddened by the turn of events. I kind of knew this was going to happen from watching the show. Kate is a tough person and has to have her way, yet I thought they complimented each other. I think what happened was that once Jon stopped working, and had to deal with all of the kids and with Kate day in and out, his or so hours of sanctuary at work taken from him forced him to really have to deal with Kate. No matter what we hear in the gossip mag we really dont know them that well. It's not a time to celebrate. just a time to feel bad for two people having to make a tough decision and now deal with it, along with their 8 kids. I hope for the best for the entire family..

I saw this coming, but it is still very sad. Watching this episode, I could see that Kate was very torn just by looking at her face. Jon, not so much.
Jon keeps saying "she did this, she did that, she controlled me." You gotta understand, Kate had 8 kids and without her honestly I don't think the family would do well. She's controlling because it's so damn hard to raise 8 kids and there's gotta be rules and restrictions. If Jon has time to cheat on his wife while raising 8 very young kids, then he's not man enough to be a father. (Kate was discussing the girls choice in the Haunted House crooked house that she picked out and how she's into coffins and things of that nature.) Ha! Be funny as hell.
OK, they're getting a divorce. The original premise of the show is gone and if it continues it will only out of greed. If TLC wants a night time soap opera, bring back reruns of Dallas or Dynasty. At least these were entertaining and the people a whole lot more attractive.

I HATE THESE FUCKING ASSHOLES NOW! Seriously, lets go get fertility treatments and have a litter of kids and then rip the family apart because they aren't mature enough to handle it! Reaalllll nice! Getting knocked up is the easy part, its raising the kids that is a challenge and people act like this is all a big surprise that its actually A LOT OF WORK taking care of children. You can't just pop them out and then act like you never had them (even though lots of people do). Those kids would have been MUCH HAPPIER to have been poor and struggling financially rather than being pimped out for money thus destroying their family in the process. This all just sucks and so do those shitty parents they have. Poor kids. People are so fucking selfish and self absorbed, its NEVER about the kids its about their fucking ego's! I hope their real proud of themselves and their accomplishments as parents right now.
To all of you who keep saying that Kate is strong and she's supermom, I have this to ask you: Are you FUCK!!G delusional? Please don't confuse her bitchassness for strength and her controlling, almost OCD-having ways for amazing motherly instinct. You CANNOT and I repeat CANNOT treat your husband or wife like a pile of poop and expect things to be ok. I don't agree with the way Jon is acting right now but I really think it's because he's going through some things right now and I hope that he gets over it because those kids need at least one decent parent.
Kate is by no means a supermom. She doesn't even look like she enjoys being with her kids. It's almost like they aren't even hers. I don't know how to explain it but she seems more like an elementary school teacher than a mother of eight. I strongly believe that (maybe with the exception of Hannah, her favorite) those kids are nothing but cash cows to her.
And don't let her performance last night fool you. Kate doesn't care about Jon. She's happier now than I've ever seen her.
I feel sooo bad 4 evry1 involved…I kno poeple don't like Kate, but I do, and I felt so bad watching her say she didn't want 2 do this alone, while Jon was saying he was excited, I like him 2 I just wish they would have figured out a way 2 make it wrk. My parents were divorced when I was 13, so I can simpathize with what Kate was saying about not wanting the kids to b a stereotype or b labled, It was and still is as I think back on it, the worst time in my life. Kate (FROM WHAT I HAVE4 HEARD AND READ) She has the same thing I have which is PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome) women who have it have trouble conceiving or cannot conceive on their own at all. Some women need MEDICAL INTERVENTION to conceive. When you go with that choice, you have a higher chance of conceiving multiples. Moving on. I think they are both in the wrong.
