It was epic!
And, what made it sooooo great was not all the dancers or the pyro or any of the other big elements. What made our Lady's performance so magical was HER. She elevated the show to a whole new level and she brought an intensity - of voice, movement and focus - that we had never seen from her before.
A performance like that doesn't just happen, though. We saw her work and work and work insanely hard on it all weekend, and even before arriving in Toronto.
Hard work pays off!
GaGa's performance was Madonna-caliber! And we know the Queen of Pop would approve of how well the new Princess of Pop did!

Sorry you got beat up,but their is nothing that great about this performance.I was expecting alot more.I guess it means more cause you are obsessed about her.A least Britney Spears has a star essence when she is on stage{even if she is not at her best]and Madonna is Madonna and Gwen Stefani is way better then this.I don't see all the fuss.This years cup of coffee,you made her just like you did Amy Winehouse

I love GaGa….but I completely disagree. It was a good performance, with lots of smoke and mirrors, but clearly she is lip syncing. Within the first minute she didn't have the mic to her mouth and she was singing. Her Dancing With the Stars performance was about 100 times better. They should have just had her on a hands free mic. She still looked great though.
She was totally Lip singing! And although she and other industry would love to think she is the next Madonna! She is a fad, and she will be out faster than bell bottoms and tid dye! She is interesting, but not long lasting!!!!!

Prepackaged gimmick pop music of today is not my thing. I understand why people like it, and that's fine, for what it is, but she is not the next big thing that's going to transform the current musical landscape in the way Nirvana did. The songs are not terrible, but let's keep it in perspective.
The reason why there will never be another Madonna is because even though there was prepackaged gimmick pop in the 1980's, the music still came first. The songs were better. The radio was still bigger than the TV. Now it's all about your visual stimulation.

ok i actually live in Canada and i watched the whole performance LIVE, Lady Gaga actually sang LIVE! She only had a background track for the choruses of BOTH songs, other than that NO LIP SYNCHING! So get off her swag, she did alright during the performance, wasnt that great but i love her(L)

Perez I'm sorry but you're an idiot. Shes completely lip syncing. She obviously recorded how she wanted it to sound before the show so she wasn't using her original tape.
If you notice, the microphone is FAR away from her face when she should be singing, but when she brings the mic close to her mouth, the sound gets neither louder or more distorted.
Also, if you knew anything about the acoustics of a building you would know that even though sound bounces off and is not heard immediately through the ear, her lag time is ridiculous. Someone who is according to you, the next "princess of pop", should at least know a little more about performing before trying to act like she can seriously sing live.
