There will be no pitter-patter of little feet running around the home of Ellen DeGeneres and wife (yes, they’re legally married in California) Portia de Rossi anytime soon, or anytime ever actually!
Ellen confessed that she did not foresee a brood of little ones in their future.
“We have animals, and we love them,” she says. “They don’t talk back, and they don’t explore their vocal chords out in public.”
When pushed further on the subject, Ellen reveals there are already some little tykes in their lives and at least with those, they reap the benefits, but not theresponsibility: “[Portia’s] brother and his wife just had a baby girl who’s a month old now, and it’s fun to be a part of that. But no, I think, you know, we definitely thought about it. And it’s something I think most people, as a relationship goes on, explore. But it’s just a huge responsibility, and I don’t know that that’s something we want to take on. We’re very happily married without children.”
Alright, but we think it is just a waste of Portia’s good looks if they aren’t passed on to a little one. Just think of it- a petite Portia!
How can you say no to that?!
