    ya know what i think kate is the best mother she can be under these circumstances, and she deserves more credit, I mean her life is falling apart. She always is a mother first regardeless of who (ehem paparazzi) are watching and i respect that. She tries so hard to always put a smile on for the sake of her kids, even as her husbands going out and cheating and refusing to try to talk to her. With a guy like john just completely uninvested, uncaring, and uninterested, what is she supposed to do in a situation like this. My heart goes out to her because it must be hard to do all this basically alone.

    umm that's no big deal. i was spanked and then my mama would get a switch (a very thin stick) from the backward and swat my legs w/ it. it hurt like hell, but i learned my lesson!

There is a reason all butts are well padded, a spanking is not a discipline meant to hurt a child it is simply a method to get their attention. Spanking IS NOT BEATING!!!!     For goodness sakes! Good for her for disciplining her kids! There will be 8 children who can function properly in the world, as opposed to the spoiled snot nosed "time out" kids. She is not beating the crap out of her. A little smack on the bum only serves to immediately stop the bad behavior. Majority of my friends who DONT spank have unruly children, who dont worry about "time out". Good for her.
