Transformers Breaks Bank And Box-Office Records

The new Shia LaDouche flick, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, has taken over the box office, grossing over $55 million in its first full day of release in the U.S., which garnered then the honor of the best opening day for a Wednesday release at the domestic box office.
Sorry Harry Potter (the former title holder)! Better luck next movie.
The opening day cash count in the U.S. includes the $16 million made in midnight runs. Again, it makes the flick the best run ever for a film released on a Wednesday and it' also the third-best of all time after The Dark Knight ($18.5 million) and Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith ($16.9 million).
We don't think it will, but we can't wait to see the weekend numbers and see if it beats out The Dark Night.

There are millions of other in the business that are better than the trash that you see on tv that deserve that chance and don't get because someone has the power and the money.
If there is any people here that are tired of media and entertainment that is recycled thoughts and concepts, raise your hand because for one I'm tired of it.

Lame. This movie won't see a penny of my money. But the first did well too and I never saw that one in the theaters either, so Transformers 2 will probably break serious records regardless of how much it sucks.
Ok. So, in my opinion this movie was kind of bad. I'll admit, it wasn't quite "Leonard Part 6" bad…or even "Freddy Got Fingered" bad, but still bad. I mean, its fine if you enjoyed it; nothing wrong with you, since everyone has an opinion, but really, trying to be objective as possible, was it really all that great? Please tell me, aside from all the explosions and Megan Fox's alleged hotness, was it really such a fantastic movie?
The main problem I had with the film was the inability to really get attached to any of the characters, autobot or human and the sloppiness of the plot. Unless you were a fan, it would be hard to identify any of the autobots outside of Optimus, Bumblebee, and Ironhide (only because his name was mentioned so often). As for plot, I believe that there can be a balance between story and action; I liked the action sequences (that I could follow >> ) but I also wanted a little more out of the plot. Nothing deep and contemplative, but…I dunno, something a little more coherent would have been nice. The first movie did a better job of this overall and I will say that the first movie was a good film. This movie has a lot of potential, but overall it was like a bag of chips: 70% air, 30% content.
In regards to the Twins, Mudflap and Skids were poor replacements for Jazz and, as one reviewer had said, potentially offensive. Mainly because, in their attempt to seem "hip" there were stupid. Funny is funny, stupid is stupid…the Twins were the latter. I'm not saying that this was intentional, since I believe Bay when he said he wanted them to be "good clean fun" but that was a fail of epic proportions. The jive speaking robots aside, this film, without a question, was definitely raunchier than the first. Personally, I didn't mind, but there were little kids in the theater. While you can't shelter kids from everything (both literally and conceptually), having a robot's supposed "balls" hanging out was a bit much.
PS: For those of you who are saying that this is better than The Dark Knight, perhaps as far as the box office performance goes, that's one thing, but for a film overall? The Dark Knight is a better film for the simple fact that there is a coherent plot, twists to keep you interested, stalwart performances from everyone involved, Heath Ledger (and, seriously, I'm not saying this because the guy died, but he could act). My only complaint with the movie is that Maggie Gyllenhaal replaced Katie Holmes, and even then that's because I don't like it when actors do not reprise their roles. So, looking at the two movies from a literary stand point, The Dark Knight wins out, sorry :/

Racism has existed throughout human history. It may be defined as the hatred of one person by another — or the belief that another person is less than human — because of skin color, language, customs, place of birth or any factor that supposedly reveals the basic nature of that person.
