Watchmen Director's Cut To See Screenings

A director’s cut of Watchmen will be released in Los Angeles, New York, Minneapolis and Dallas a week prior to Comic-Con International in San Diego in late July.

The unusual release will culminate in a special screening at Comic-Con, followed by commentary from director Zack Snyder and a feature that will allow viewers all over to participate simultaneously. The event will be archived for future access.

The film performed lukewarmly in its original release, with critics mixed over the results, but Snyder maintained that “I’m proud of the movie. It does everything I wanted it to.”
