It was expected and now, the sad and inevitable has happened.
Farrah Fawcett passed away Thursday morning in California.
The beloved TV icon was surrounded by family and friends at St. Joseph Health Center in Los Angeles.
Facett, a devout Catholic, was given her last rites by a priest yesterday.
The Charlie's Angels alum bravely battled cancer for the last several years.
She was 62 years old.
In our hearts and minds, though, she lives on forever and will be remembered in that iconic swimsuit flashing that mega-watt smile.
Our condolences to her family and friends and everyone who was touched by her work, her life and her spirit.

It's heartwrenching watching someone you love die. All who battle this disease and others like it are the bravest of life soldiers. I wish all who loved her comfort and healing as they move forward. And please if you still smoke (anything) stop. Now.
may God rest her soul.I believe that she'll find peace now.you know the sad thing here is that everything Ryan O' Neil touches he destroys it.all 3 of his kids are on heroin and crack.Redmond too and not just that.he's in jail too.well at least I hope they'll realease him now that his mother is dead.

I'm so sad about this. I hoped that she would beat the odds and overcome this terrible cancer. I'm glad that Ryan was there for her right by her side as she fought. She obviously died knowing how much she was loved. This is truly the end of an era. I sincerely hope that her family and friends can be comforted knowing that she brought happiness to so many people and that her legacy will live on in the hearts of many.
I dont get why everyone is all jacked up about her passing away on THURSDAY AM. WHY are people all fucked up about this? She died early Thursday morning. That does NOT make it Friday. What am I missing?

It's kinda weird to watch someone on T.V. for so long then wake up one day and they are gone.
Always hoped and prayed that she could beat this horrible disease.
But she is at peace now and that has to better than suffering. Glad that her family and friends let her go and die with dignity. To many of us hold on to loved ones for our own selfish reasons.

I'm not trying to be insensitive and yes it is very sad but people die everyday from cancer sisters, daughters, mothers are lost and it is just as tragic as a tv actress dying.

And I hope you are right up in heaven giving Michael Jackson a hard time, i know people can't control when they die but this was supposed to be your day,a day all about you, and then Mike dies and everybody is going to be like, Farrah died? Really, how sad. People will be talking about Mike, but not you.
But regardless, your pain is at an end and you are not in pain any longer, you were beautiful right up to the end and a true inspiration to all of those with cancer, we will find a cure one day, I have lost many loved ones to cancer and so has people all over. We love you Farrah, long live the angel with the feather hair.
