Setting the record straight clear!
So did he write those songs or not????
The label set to release an album of old Adam Lambert songs (from 2007/08) claim he did co-write them. He denied it.
Well, a week after the first new/old song leaked, Glamberella is speaking out again.
He says:
“Last Friday I was surprised to find out that songs I recorded back in 2005 were being released. Since then I discovered the entire track listing, revealed online today. I was shocked to learn that songwriting demos of songs that I co-wrote and recorded over the past few years may be released in an album. Like a rough draft that a writer does before finishing a book, I did not intend my work on these demos to be heard by the public. I was unaware that anyone intended to release these recordings until I heard about it in the press, and I’m very disappointed by this entire situation.”
Unfortunately, sometimes it’s more about the money than the music.
As for his real record, the one coming out through 19 Recordings, Glambert has been working mighty hard with some big names. Recently, he met with legendary producer Linda Perry as well as had writing sessions with Idol judge Kara DioGuardi and Grammy nominated Sam Sparro, and also went into the studio with One Republic’s Ryan Tedder.
This sounds like it’s gonna be one hell of a record!
