In the wake of the passing of Michael Jackson, a comforting realization comes to light as his music soars through the charts.
In the last 24 hours, his albums and singles have taken over the Top Ten lists of almost every major music downloading site, including iTunes and Amazon.
As of now, Michael's biggest hits hold six top spots on the iTunes list of top ten songs and his 2005 five-disc retrospective release, The Essential Michael Jackson taking, the top album spot.
On Amazon, he's even more prevalent: the top 10 best-selling albums are currently all Jackson.
His music truly is timeless!

I have to admit i was one of many that went srtaight to itunes and purchased the essentials album as soon as i heard the news. I grew up on MJs music and always loved the songs and had maybe three in my iPod at the time of his death. Today i was in my backyard as my children were swimming in the pool and we were listening to the whole album and as i listened to his music i realized how many songs i actually knew by heart and my kids were singing some and i wondered how they knew them because their 5 and 11! My daughters started saying oh this is from this movie, this is from that movie and i realized how much his music touched so many of us in so many ways. I suddenly felt bad that it took his death for me to purchase his music and truly appreciate how its been part of my life soundtrack for so long. Thanks Michael for all the hits, my family is really gonna miss you.

I think it’s ridiculous how the media & everybody in general are so quick to honor him now that he is gone. Where was all this when he was still here? Michael Jackson will truly be missed by millions of people whose opinions of him were not tainted by his personal struggles. The ones who respected and admired him as an artist despite the controversy and negative press. The truth is, up until his death, people made fun of him. Everything from his plastic surgery to his court allegations. Now everyone is acting like they really care? What is wrong with this world? Somebody has to die before they get really appreciated. I am not rushing to itunes to buy his music, Because I already have it all. Posers, Hypocrites and all the people who poked fun at this legendary artist are the ones rushing to buy all his music. All the people who already knew how great of impact he had on the world with his music, already a have it.
Thriller was the first album I ever purchased & I was hooked from then on. MJ is untouchable and NOBODY can come close to what he has accomplished.

I said to myself that I would never come to your site again after what you said about Mike yesterday about him "faking" then taking it down, and trying to be somewhat sympathetic.
