Janet has both feet on the ground. She had the strength and wherewithall to oversee the vans at her dear brother's house. Been there, done that. Leading and working by putting one foot in front of the other and doing the things that have to be done now by someone will be her saving grace. I hope she asks for help and assigns some tasks to others. Her and the family's best tribute to Michael will be living well, once the grief and numbness fade and they gain some perspective. He is not suffering where he is. Only those who are left suffer from the loved one's absence. I doubt he'd want that for his family, at least not for very long. Answers to questions will unfold in time. Hugs.

She looked so beautiful, you could tell that this was so hard for her. She has so much courage. I admire her even more than i did before. I am so glad she was there I was getting kind of nervous thinking that Joseph Jackson would be the only one there and his interview would be the first and only impression at the awards show. Michael is finally at perfect, peace and at rest. I am glad and happy for him. It just that his family will miss him so much and so will all his fans. Take comfort Janet and family you will see your beloved again in paradise.
I did not see the BET Award show, so I do not know how bad it was or wasn't. You know that the Grammys will have a show that is befitting a legend. Plus it was last minute. I did not see it so I do not know. Janet's speech was so beautiful and moving!!

I for one have only come back to this site periodically b/c I am hoping that Perez will submit an apology to Michael's children, family, and fans for what he said the other day. Michael's soul and heart was just to big for this world to appreciate therefore God called him back home. Me and fans from all over the world are still truly devestated b/c Michael is "Gone to soon". Michael loved his chidren soooo much and still deserves to be here w/ them and his family right now. I miss him dearly.

I love seeing photos and video of Michael as a young boy..he was so beautiful and exuberant with an extrordinary spirit and soul and whoever made that boy feel ugly and not worthy caused so much pain that would haunt that sweet man his entire life.Janet is so beautiful and has such courage..bless your heart Janet and much love to all who loved MJ..

Reading these comments, I guess I am the only one (or one of the only few) who feels like there is something not right about this. I have to admit… I was a little shocked to see Joe Jackson as first smiling and "enjoying" the attention, but now after I see Janet I can see that the music industry defines the Jackson family and that it was appropriate for them to be there. I think Janets words were heartfelt and I respect the Jackson family for reaching out to the fans and the public and letting us grieve with them during this difficult time.
