The Gossip lead singer Beth Ditto is revitalizing the fashion industry with her debut clothing line with Evans.
The UK plus-size brand caters to women between sizes 14-32 and features a range of products, including tight print dresses, domino print scarves, acid washed textiles and cropped fitted jackets.
Hawt!
Ditto is not some random celebrity who claims to design! She has been making her clothes out of hand-me-downs, pieces of fabric or re-working vintage pieces for years.
Beth will hopefully change the entire plus-size clothing industry!!!
No more boring, oversized clothes!

Size 14? OK depending on your height. But Size 32??? That isn't healthy on any sized "big boned" frame. God made people in all shapes & sizes and it's great to embrace your natural body, but obesity is unhealthy and NOT attractive. I have curves (size 10) and am 5'8'. Beth Ditto may think she's "going against the standard", but all she's doing is refusing to live a HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. She is extremely obese. Yes, someone who is obese can still be beautiful, but why not be healthy instead of risk your life for no reason? Someone who is obese is not a role model. We CANNOT teach young people that being obese is a good thing. It's not. She doesn't need to be uber thin, but obesity is unhealthy and frankly, pretty disgusting.

I adore Beth Ditto, she has an incredibly voice and an amazing fashion sense….the only reason people diss on her clothes is they didn't even know she existed until recently. Looking back at all of the shows for the Gossip that I went to, I can honestly say she had some amazing pieces on….That being said, it would be nice if you would pick which side you are on - you are incredibly hard on women for gaining weight (and have made comments about Ditto in the past in reference to Katy "no talent" Perry), so you need to choose. Either embrace women for being who they are and avoid the stereotypical gay male bullshit, or continue to promote an image of gay men only liking women when they can get something from them.

First off I want to say that the sizes 14-32 are the british sizes, and the equivilant of those for U.S. sizes would be about 10-24 [give or take a couple of sizes larger].

However… has anyone gone to the link that is explaing her new line?! The pictures that showcase some of her outfits…are worn by models who couldn't be bigger than a "6" or an "8" which, according to the website, is 3-4 sizes TOO SMALL than her line will be catering to. Seems odd. Shes got some support in places, but even the website doesn't want to put obese women on their pages.
