Demanding Money! MJ's Doctor An Insensitive Asshole

Michael Jackson's cardiologist doesn't seem to be in any state of mourning after the loss of the music icon with whom he lived. His only concern is that he gets paid for his services.
The lawyer representing the doctor says he is owed $300,000 by AEG Live, the promoter of the comeback concerts, and the doc wants his cash now. He claims the Texas-licensed Dr. hasn't been paid in month.
Well, good luck with that, douche, because according to Randy Phillips, CEO and president of AEG Live, the contract to pay Dr. Conrad Murray requires Jackson's signature and - unfortunately for him - Jackson did not sign the agreement before his sudden death last Thursday.

Now, if he is looking to get paid at all, he will have to file a claim against the singer's estate, but considering that Michael left behind a supposed $400 million debt, we suggest he gets in line and settles in for a long wait.

The doctor has a point. You have to pay for hospital services even if it ends in death. Why wouldn't he pay or his Estate (what's left of it) pay for whatever they did to him at the hospital. It should be fairly simple for him to get paid -he worked, his patient died, the concert people owe. EVEN if he did something wrong, he is still owed money. AEG does not get to get away without paying someone. if he is negligent, that has nothing to go with pay, that is a criminal offense and the state deals with it.

Why was CPR done on the bed? The first thing 911 responders advised was to move Jackson to the floor. There is no clear delineation as to whether there is or is not any negligence involved. That should be established before the Doc puts his hand out. He shouldn't hold his breath at this point. Perhaps he was advised by his lawyer to request payment, as that would look to be a normal thing to do.

Once he explains why he took so long to call for help and why he didn't perform CPR correctly, then he should get paid. If he is supposed to be paid for doing a service, then he should perform that service. Maybe he didn't know how. But, since he didn't have a contract, I don't know what that would be.
