I agree with you Perez! I was really hoping to see a video for Kill the Lights or maybe Lace and Leather. I think this was a lack luster idea and they could have made a better choice, both in song and director. Just sayin'…….

i really like how simple it is, better than watching her in cartoon form! i think it could really work, like a dance ballad type thing that really slow paced but poppy at the same time. i just think her last album she should have had Get Naked as a single and put out Unusual You right now.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I REALLY think it's time for both Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera to retire. Britney just..has no passion anymore (which was the only other thing, besides her entertainment skills, that made her so successful) and Christina is in her late 20's and looks like her great-grandmother inspired her fashion, hair and make-up choices. They were my idols less than 3 years ago and I feel bad saying it. But they're washed up has-beens now.

The reason the song was released was because when people work worth producers, sometimes they have to sign a contract saying a song will be released as a single. Which was the reason this song was released. It was going to be released LAST summer from the Blackout album, but she was already in the studio, so they pushed it back to be released with her circus album.

loved it it's very different compared to what is out there! 1 thing I love about Britney is the fact that she does whatever she wants, not follows what everyone is doing just to be a hit. To me all of Lady Gaga's videos are the same thing just she's dressed different, this is more like what Beyonce does tell a story. I'm so glad she didn't dance.

it had to be released as a single because she and her management team signed a contract with the people who wrote or produced the song, saying that they would make it a single and she didn't on the last album. that's also why its on the "circus" cd. as for the video, its great. its not our usual brit, but she doesnt have to dance in every video to make it hot. have we forgotten that "everytime" and "not a girl not yet a woman" didnt have dancing in their videos??
as far as people saying she's over, you have a lot to learn my friend. lady gaga is big now, but its a challange staying big and its only gaga's first cd. secondly, brit DOES write her own music, just not all of it. i'm sure she writes a lot of it but it doesnt get put out there. she's been involved with everything from the beginning. she thought of the "baby one more time" video. they were gonna have her do some weird cartoon thing instead but she said no thats tacky. I don't get what's the big deal about "unusual you." its not a great song. "kill the lights" needs to be the next single. :]

Britney is a woman now and needs to show that in her videos. She always is looking like a schoolgirl sneaking around to get a guy or dancing with a pole. She needs to grow artistically, I don't know if she is capable of it, I don't know if she has it inside her.

okay let me jut explain this for anyone confused:
britney is the boyfriend of this powerful polo player, whose basically keeping her as his pet and super portective of her, (which is why there are all those shots of the polo horse juxtaposed with britney- theyre both being kept by the polo player), basically she almost feels trapped by him, shes sees this really hot guy, theyre both attracted to each other, but cant meet . . finally during the game, when he wont notice, she sneaks off to him, ad they dissapear and they run off together . . .

I think this video is amazing, something we havent yet seen from her, more of a storyline then dancing around. I did like the song…but this video was just product placement lameness. Had Spears and random model guy #2 not kissed, I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking that Spears is "singing" about the horse being on her radar. The horse does monopolize the camera shots.
