Canada was founded on the fur trade. The Hudson's Bay Company owned the largest piece of real estate in the world at the time. Exclusively for the fur trade. My grandfather fed thirteen children from his trap lines. This movement to save anything fuzzy and cute is patheticly naive. Seals or any animal can be harvested more humanely I agree. The truth is better than half of these animals will never live to maturity. They will die in the jaws of something larger or starve to death. As in the big city, in nature something is always trying to eat you or fuck you. If it can't outrun or outsmart me it is going to share a plate with a potato or become a coat. Welcome to Canada. So yes, they do kill seals of all ages. Once you commit to bashing an animals brains in I highly doubt you become too picky about age restrictions.
