PerezHilton.com has just exclusively confirmed with the Jonas Brothers' publicist that eldest bro, Kevin, 21, is engaged to marry his longtime girlfriend, Danielle.
His parents, Kevin Sr. and Denise Jonas, just released the following statement: "Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle Deleasa for her hand in marriage. Her answer was yes and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our families celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. I'm happy for them. In my opinion he is not still a virgin and I don't think he is being driven to marriage due to his lust for sex. But I'm tired of people saying he is too young. I'm 21 and engaged and getting married later this year. You can't say that everyone who gets married young will divorce! It goes from couple to couple how the marriage will go. Some aren't mature enough or are too selfish to get married and it ends in divorce. But some of us are mature and can't wait to find out who we are and learn about ourselves while sharing our life with the person we love. You can't pass judgment on so blatently when you don't know really how their relationship is!

Re: truth in life – Stop being so rude! If he wants to get married at 21, he must feel like she's really the one or he wouldn't have proposed to her! Kevin (unlike his brothers, who (I'm going to agree with Kateisfly) are screwed), has been especially blessed to have found the person he wants to spend the rest of his life so early on. And it's actually a good thing that he has, because she's such a normal and so is he, so they've got many things in common, plus Hollywood hasn't gotten to his head yet so she's lucky!
It's odd cause people here fail to realize this marriage isn't gonna happen anytime soon. Marriages take a LONG ass time to plan, don't expect to see it till next spring at the lastest.
