Michael Jackson may be dead, but his concert producers are going to get their money, dammit!
According to a new report, fans who wish to witness Michael's funeral in Los Angeles on Tuesday will have to shell out $25.
$25 is kind of lowballing it, don't you think?
And if that's not enough, t-shirts produced for the "This Is It" show will also reportedly be on sale so you can take home a souvenir.
Tacky? Or a cool souvenir?

Re: sadieface – Penal Statute #290 in the California Penal (look it up) states that : "Every person who mutilates, disinters or removes from the place of sepulture the dead body of a human being without authority of law, is guilty of a felony. But the provisions of this section do not apply to any person who removes the dead body of a relative or friend for reinterment." Since the funeral and services will be held in California, this applies. Does this answer your question?
I'm sorry but this is very fucking tacky for them to charge for this. but I guess this sums up his whole life, people just wanted to profit from this wonderful talent.

With such a nominal fee I would think they are simply attempting to cover the cost of the venue! After all, Jackson is considerably in debt and it makes no sense to incur more.
I don't see what the big deal is. $25 is cheap for an event at the Staples Center. Should the Staples Center's owners pay for the staffing, security, electricity, etc that will be required? That stuff ain't cheap, and the place will be packed!

The memorial is free asshole - One of the brothers was on CNN and said it is free. also its not the funeral - that will be held prior to the memorial for friends and family only.
