At the end of December of 2007, we said to ourself, "NO MORE!" And we set out on a mission to change our life and become healthier - for good.

Through lots of hard work and dedication, we think we look like a completely different person today. We are very happy with our results, and we've still got a lot of more work to do!
Going shirtless last 4th of July was a great motivator, and doing it again this year was a great way to hold us publicly accountable to ourself.

Congrats on the improvements, you sure look a lot better than you used to back in December 2007. Keep up the good work, if it can inspire overweight people to do the same, I think that's great.
Just one thing though: you should really try and muscle your arms, it doesn't take too much effort (start with light weights) and would make a big difference.

perez you were hot in '07 gettin healthy is a good thing but dont change for anyone. specialy when your 100% pure amazing.
It's funny how some people get offended by the negative comments when Perez Hilton is the Drag Queen of negativity. Just like you have the right to lie and say that Perez has made a huge improvement, I have the right to tell it like I see it and say that he looks the same and his body looks disgusting. I don't see his body toned or anything. If the fat people on dance your ass off show can loose 14 pounds in 1 week, Perez should have a body like Orlando Bloom by now. The average weight loss for some one that is doing the bare minimum is 6 pounds. So if Perez was just doing the bare minimum and loosing at least 6 pounds a week for 12 months. Perez should have lost around 288 pounds and looking at the before and after videos, it doesn't look like that. He probably sheded like 10-15 pounds. If he is going for that, "it shouldnt matter how skinny you look as long as you are healthy" approach, he shouldn't criticize other people.

What is your routine? You have more than one trainer and it's been a year and a half of working out and the body doesn't look that much different. I would try weight training. That's the best way to burn fat and build muscle tone. Cardio is great for the heart.

From someone who has had an eating disoder for 6 years, and been in recovery for one, now working at the National Eating Disorders Association I can truley say I'm appalled. Do you know how many in the world have low self-esteem already? And that cruel words like so can trigger eating disorders? And someone doing it the healthy, long-term way too…shows so much immaturity and inhumanity. It makes me sick that some of the people in our world think this way.
