Oh, it is a happy day for anyone who calls themselves a Twilight fan. You'll want to throw on your Team Edward shirt for this one kids because we have some deets on Breaking Dawn film, the final installment of the Twilight Saga.
Well, actually only one deet, but it is an important one.
Twilight cast member Ashley Greene revealed in a recent interview that she would be preparing for the fourth and final film immediately after the shoot for Eclipse, the third film.
"We're going to start right after Eclipse," she says.
Yay! Someone wised up!
There was concern that though the second and third film were slated to film back-to-back, ensuring to market on the ravenous success of the franchise as well as keep the "ageless" vampires looking as such, no plans had been made for the fourth and most extravagant novel. But now we can all breathe a little easier!
Okay, so if we do our Twilight math right, if New Moon comes out November 2009, and Eclipse is slated for summer 2010, then we might just get Breaking Dawn by the beginning of 2011 or that summer!
Hurry up!

June 2008 Update: In response to the outrageous number of emails that I have received with questions concerning Midnight Sun, I talked to Stephenie this weekend and she asked me to let everyone know that Midnight Sun is her next project. She has not yet finished writing it (and there is no timeline set up, so we all need to put a lot of effort into being patient for a while longer), but she is definitely still planning on having it published. And, after Breaking Dawn comes out, Stephenie will have much more time to focus on writing Midnight Sun.
Umm I don't think Ashley is the most credible source. I don't see how they can film Breaking Dawn right after because Rob starts Unbound Captives with Hugh Jackman right after Eclipse and then after Unbound Captives he shoots Bel Ami in Paris…so not really any time to fit Breaking Dawn in there and Rob even said himself he didn't know when it would start because of all his upcoming projects.

If you look up the Twilight Saga on imdb.com it says that New Moon comes out November 2009, Eclipse is set for July 2010 and Breaking Dawn is hitting theatres in November 2010. The website has said that for over 2 months now
i really dont understand why ppl dont like breaking dawn as much. i thought it was really cute. it was just the next step in their relationship. i did think that the very ending, the very last page, was a little lame. but other than that, i thought it did a really good job at tying the story together for a happily ever after. i for one, am really effing stoked.
i also dont get why ppl hate kristen. shes a great actress and i personally love her. so get over it. shes not going to be recast so everyone is just going to have to deal with it :]

NONONONONO the book was TERRIBLE. Ruined the series. and it will make an awful film. even worse than twilight was. Even if there's an amazing director (unlikely) and k-stew is re-cast, the story is just so bad, no matter what they do.
The honeymoon will be SO painful, and how the fuck are they gonna do 'vampire' bella. I mean it was easy to get taylor to buff up, but how are they going to make her pretty? Make-up only goes so far…
Such great news!!! I think the studio is going to break up "Breaking Dawn" into 2 movies and have the first half out in December 2010 and the second half out in summer 2011.

I loved the beginning of bd because of the wedding and honeymoon it was so cute.
I think they are rushing it! I think they should a least wait until new moon comes out before they start filming again! And Kristen is filming "The Runaways" and I doubt she is gonna be done by 8/17 when they begin shooting Eclipse! My point is that they don't need to rush it! give it some time! And if they fuck up the last two movies I will rip off summit's balls!

Am I the only one who actually liked the book? I mean, it was completely different from the other ones, but I loved how it ended. I like how random and different it is. That is how it should be. Once Bella becomes a vampire (gets married even) her life is different, why should this book be the same as when she was her old self. She's going against everything she ever thought of… getting married, actually deciding to go to college before becoming a vampire, becoming pregnant, wanting to be a mother, becoming a vampire… I mean, this isn't the Bella we've come to know in the past 3 books of course it's going to be weird. Her whole life at that point is a blur.

Oh, yeah… and I'm totally gunning for the R rating… no way it can be anything lower than PG-13 because of the sex and the makeshift c-section… if the kids read it what's that point in not putting it in the movie, books are more vivid with the descriptions. And if the youngsters haven't read the books and are just going to see it for the cute boys and to jump on the bandwagon they should be made to see it. We shouldn't have something that has lived within our heads for awhile be pushed aside as to not upset the conservative mommies, which probably think that Twilight, along with Harry Potter, is of the devil and will cause the little ones to praise the occult!

If they ever even considered recasting Kristen i would immediately give up on the series. She made Bella bearable in the movie. Bella was a pain in the ass in the book. Kristen made her strong and identifiable. To all the pathetic jealous b*itches saying Kristen cannot look like a sexy vampire … please go and stick your head in a gas oven. The girl is beautiful.
