Judge Rules Against Michael's Mother!!!!!

Michael's final wishes have been granted!
Los Angeles judge Mitchell Beckloff just ruled that Michael Jackson's 2002 will is valid, at the expense of his mother, Katherine.
Per the will, MJ attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain will become executors of Michael's estate, estimated at $500 million.
Attorneys for Katherine wished to delay the decision in order to sway it in their favor. They even went so far to suggest that due to an unspecified disability, McClain was unfit to serve as executor.
We don't understand the complaint.
Michael left her a ton of money!
She probably is not handling this matter for a good reason!

Why is it after his death everyone seems uber interested in his welfare? If his family had, as I've read, attempted the intervention in Vegas a couple of years ago, and felt that he was in bad shape then, certainly that was the time to hire attorneys to have him placed in a rehab. Not hire counsel now, when his will clearly states perfectly logical steps for after his passing. And I think the memorial service is in poor taste, held at the last place he was publicly seen, no less, and not what anyone would wish for their legacy, especially Michael. If he only knew during his rehearsals that he'd been memorialized there in a couple of weeks, he would have certainly turned white then. When were Mariah and Michael BFFs anyway?

It's not so much "against" her, as it is "with" the will. She filed, and was granted, her control over things when there was no proof that a will existed.

John Branca was just re-hired two weeks ago. That will is from 2002.
Acoording to Katherins lawyer, she is concerned about Branca's relationship with the singer before he died. Branca had rejoined Jackson just weeks before his death.
The lawyer for the named co-executors says he has a letter from Michael Jackson stating he wanted Branca to be in control of his affairs. The letter was dated June 17, 2009, 8 days before Jackson died. In other words, as soon as MJ re-hired Branca, MJ thinks of is to sign everything back over to Branca? Thats very strange because the only will there is a a few years old, yet this document is very recent

She probably just doesn't trust these people. It's hard to know who to trust when you are rich and famous, not to mention when you are Michael Jackson. I sincerely trust that she has only the best intenetions of her grandchildren and the security of their inheritance at heart.

Hey stupid (That would be you Mario)….This is not a good thing, you idiot. His MOTHER is trying to make sure that HIS CHILDREN are provided for. MJ's money will now get eaten up by lawyers, corporations and other bottom feeders that think they can get their hands on his money. Funny how you didn't mention that the "other side" had 18 attorneys present and they didn't open their mouths. You can be sure they will bill for their time in the courtroom though…..
Katherine is going to do whatever she needs to do to protect those children, and make sure that MICHAELS WISHES FOR HIS CHILDREN are met. If that means Joe public can't bottom feed off a video of practice sessions (Like IEG is planning) SO BE IT. You also failed to mention that the Judge told these two bottom feeders that he expects them to inform Katherine of decisions made, and to invite her opinion.

Good. She never protected him as a child. I've never heard him speak of her, fondly or otherwise. His wishes should be honored.
The judge is not impartial. He, too, is a member of the American Bar Association, the powerful lawyers' group that has a prominent lobby. This was a gift to Branca and McClain, and they stand to earn millions as executors.
This is how racism has been refined in this country; this is how it has gone "high tech." The courts assist in taking money from Black people. And it's all perfectly legal.
Taking it out of katherine's hands is probable a good idea too. how much money has just sifted right through the whole jackson family like it was grains of sand. no one in that family knows how to handle money. It would be better if the judge set up an independent attorney & financial trust person for each child to look out for his/her interests. Michael and his brothers should have been set for life back in the '70's but the Lord only knows what papa Joe did with all the money.
He didn't so much rule 'against' his mother, as much as rule in favor of the conditions as laid down in Michael's most recent valid will. Them's the rules.
