    2

I love it! The floral and black pieces are fantastic!

  3. 3

and yet it's not modeled by plus sized models…how ridiculous is that?

  4. 4

I'm not plus size, but the clothes are lovely

  5. 5

    That's a plus size model???

  6. 6

the model doesn't look particularly plus size…i likee the clothes though :) x

  7. 7

I agree Miss Tia-It seems a little degrading if you're going to start a plus line apparel and not use plus size models……

  8. opkl says – reply to this

    8

i would actually buy some of her stuff, too bad i'm not overweight

  9. 9

where are the plus sized models?

  10. 10

there's actually great looking clothes in there… nice.

  11. 11

Why is that anorexic hag modeling for these?

  12. 12

I sincerely hope that is NOT considered a PLUS size model!

  13. 13

Since when is a size 10 "plus sized"?

And those look like normal sized women–not the usual anorexic model, but certainly not "plus" sized. Not one is the size or shape of Ditto.

Make plus sized clothes, use a freaking plus size model!

  14. 14

yeah, purple sequins are JUST what chunky girls need. That shit is tired and trashy, like the designer. ;)

  15. 15

Meh. Too much sleeveless stuff and I have under arm flab, so these won't do.

  16. 16

I may go to see if I can fit into a 14, because I love the blue one-piece, but I'm afraid it will be too big :(
It's great that there is a fashionable line for plus sizes, finally! I feel badly for my larger friends who don't get good options, it's just not fair.

  17. 17

perez: clearly you have NO IDEA what 1980's nyc danceteria looked like.

  18. 18

so how come the model's arent plus sized?
    thats dumb.

  19. 19

If I were Beth Ditto, I wouldn't be happy with these pictures. Finally some fab clothes for plus sized women and then they put them on a stick figure.

  20. 20

Normal looking girls = plus size in fashion industry. How fucking lame. This girl is not even fat… whatever.
Love the clothes! My fat ass hope it's going to be sale in Canada!

  21. 21

yeh, where r all the fatties? what a fuckin hypocrite!

  22. 22

Pfft, I'm going to gain 20 pounds or so, just so I can wear her clothing line. Gorgeoussss!

  23. 23

I'm going out to buy the whole collection now!! the hideous colors and designs will distract people from my pig face!

  24. 24

    really nice.
but seriously? why did she make a clothing line for only fatties? discrimination against the normals and skinnys!

  25. 25

Those clothes are swallowing that girl alive!

  26. 26

hahaha this is so lame. i'm glad somebody else noticed the fact that they have an uber skinny model, modelling the clothes. seriously, if these were made in sizes 14+ then they had to be altered to fit this skinny bitch! what is she? like an 8? YUCK!

  27. 27

if you go in london, you can find that kinda style in every fucking corner, leggings and dress and playsuit and it all.

  28. 28

    Designer: Omar the tent maker

  29. 29

Re: Kit-Cath – yeah the clothes look ok with SKINNY girls modeling them! lol..put one on Kirstie Allie and see how "cute they look" lmao

  30. 30

????? its great clother i admit…but… the models r not victoria 's secret model but..plus size?!..i mean even if its plus size model for plus size clother..i mean its still THE HALF of beth ditto size so…..i mean every pictures..you put the girl together and they'r even not big as beth ditto so.. its a plus size lines but its still not for the big big girls so…. lol but its great

  31. 31

these plus sized people are anyone over 100 pounds who actually eat food.

  32. 32

i love it but why the model are skinny she will release cloth for every size because im loving that cloth

  33. 33

too bad i'm a size 6 cause i'd love to wear those!!

  34. 34

There's nothing "Plus Sized" about those models or those clothes. What a joke!!

  35. 35

is that model REALLY plus sized…?
    honestly, i would believe it.
    doesnt, look it though.
    just very tall.

  36. 36

AND MARIO/PEREZ…. YOU WOULD KNOW ABOUT 80'S DANCETERIA BECAUSE …….??????…. I thought so …..NOT ! it might be 80's/danceteria but HOW THE HELL WOULD YOU KNOW??? I lived it and was a regular…….. and i know your ASS was never there, THANK YOU VERY MUCH !

  37. 37

that girl is not plus sized!!!!!!

  38. epic says – reply to this

    38

no man would fuck a woman who wears stuff like that.
thank god ditto is a lesbian.

  39. 39

These clothes suck - its like a bad 80s nightmare. Why do big girls have to hide their bodies under these shapeless pieces???

    TERRIBLE

  40. opkl says – reply to this

    40

not really sure why people are calling the model "really skinny"…

but then again, normal healthy people must look "really skinny" to fatties..

  41. 41

Hmm, Beth Ditto is like 3, 4, 5 times bigger than that model? Craptastic!

  42. 42

thats retarded marketing since the model modelling her fashion line is fucking size zero
    -
why not use a plus size model tard?

  43. 43

but the girl modelling couldn't possibly be a "plus size", ridiculous. sending out the wrong signal!!!

  44. 44

10 is not a plus size

  45. 45

actually, she does look plus sized compared to most models…i know its sad.

  46. 46

this is plus sized? where are the plus size models?!

  47. 47

Typical models used for plus size clothing. That's AVERAGE SIZE WOMEN MUTHA FACKOS!!!!!

  48. 48

I 'love' how this is meant for plus size models when the girls modeling the clothes are of 'normal' weight!

  49. 49

if its a plus sized clothing line, it should be modeled by plus sized girls.

  50. 50

That is too funny. A plus size line with thin models. Talk about self hatred.

  51. 51

haha "plus sized clothes" on pencil sized models… sheesh.

  52. 52

if it's plus size why are the models still so skinny?

  53. 53

They only go up to a US size 28 . . . Beth won't be able to wear what she designed she's at least a 50!

  54. mben says – reply to this

    54

Why is it being modeled by averaged sized models. That girl can't be bigger than a size six. I guess that makes me and all my friends pretty much plus sized.

  55. auds says – reply to this

    55

Um. Seriously, those are gross. Not even a skinny girl could pull off that shit, as seen on the model. (Where IS the plus sized model??) HIDEOUS. I feel bad for anyone who would really wear that. Can't we big girls have something NICE to wear and not dumpy stuff that looks like it was thrown out in the 80's???

  56. 56

This is SOOOO sad! Are those supposed to be plus sized models? It is a sad day when a size 10 is considered a plus size!!!!

  57. 57

That model is not plus size.

  58. 58

Why have a plus sized clothing line and have average (or smaller) sized models showing your clothes? Be proud of your plus size line and use plus size models!! Kinda insulting to bigger girls!

  59. 59

Not only are they NOT plus sized - the clothes look gawdy. I'm not sure if it's just how much they look like trash bags on the size of model, or they are just that badly designed. But as a fat girl myself (no, I'm not PC, I'm realistic) - I wouldn't go NEAR this stuff. Skin tight? Clothes without stretch? Some that barely cover my cooch to begin with, so when I cross my legs at a chair, my butt isn't even covered? The opposite side of the spectrum is so loose, it'd make me look several dress sizes LARGER… just awful - awful clothes, awful execution, awful design, and awful models. Just goes to show, Ditto don't REALLY care about plus sized women… just making cash since she has no musical talent…

  60. 60

Actually, I just figured it out!!! She can't use plus sized models…. because some of the dresses are so short, using a plus sized model would point out that it's so short, where our legs touch together, sometimes down to the knees would make these clothes ABSOLUTELY horrific on bigger girls/women…

  61. 61

    Beth Ditto is very annoying
also, the clothes aren't even being modeled by plus sized models

  62. 62

A plus sized woman who has had a few kids could never wear some of that stuff, especially the blue jumper suit on the bottom. Did Ditto even test real plus sized women??? I mean a woman's "apron" stomach would fill that loose stuff in the crotch up front!

  63. Jive says – reply to this

    63

Fuck yourself, dick cheese. You call Mischa Barton and Jessica Simpson "fat" but that fat ass pasty blimp Beth Shitto looks like she ate them all. Oh yeah, you want plus sized shit because you are a fatass at your core & you will gain it all back and plus. Oh btw,131st!

  64. 64

PLUS SIZE? These models are tiny??!!

    That doesnt even make sense…
I HATE Beth Ditto….looking at her makes me want to be SICKKKK!
    Ew!

  65. 65

That is not a plus size model. She's certainly attractive, but she's not plus size.

  66. 66

I like it too - BUT why don't they take real size plus models to show it? Shame

  67. 67

i'm a size 6 & this isnt down to continuous dieting or starving myself, im 17 for god sake, i have little parents. but if i was a model, surely if you got offered to front the campaign for plus sized clothes, yet you were definitely not plus sized you'd say no? or maybe thats just me..

  68. 68

sad but true - that's considered plus size model. OF COURSE there's models with more meat on their bones. Ditto (or who the fuck) just didn't use one o those - hypocrites!! and oh yeah: BARF! weren't the old 80 not bad enough people?!? jeez!

  69. 69

Re: therealstinkweed – since a size 7 in America is now actually the equivalent to what a size 10 was a few years ago!! Big Business trying to make women fell better about themselves.

  70. 70

Re: cali kitty – yes it is

  71. 71

love the pieces there amazing but their seems to be more focus on the size of the model. Firstly the model is plus size and its not her 1st plus size campaign secondly try voicing your opinions without insulting people the models hardly a hag isn't this perhaps a clear indication of how flattering the collection pieces are!

  72. 72

The retro balck dress and purple hoodie are great. I love them! I would buy them but Im in US and 100 UK bux for both is steep.

  73. 73

Re: meganisabitch It's not the models accepting that's the problem. It's the fact that they were offered to begin with.

  74. 74

Honestly those ARE plus sized models! Go to Nordstroms online and see what they use for plus sized, Michael Kors ought to be shot for having a sized 2 model his plus sized fashions.

  75. 75

Are they trying to fool us with the pale skin adding 10 pounds??? Come on, I'm insulted! Where's the muffin tops? Where's arms flapping in the winds? Where is the corduroy thigh rubbing? Where's the cellulite and stretch marks?

  76. 76

None of these models look fat…O Beth you self-promoting hypocrite!!…

  77. 77

this was in the magazines like two weeks ago. but yeah its noce stuff, id wear it but im too small lol

  78. 78

Re: ukfashionista Other news stories are reporting this girl is a size 10 - that's NOT plus sized. Plus starts at 16 and up. The clothing store that will sell this stuff, sells clothes from 10-28. 10 is NOT a plus size. Using the smallest woman possible for the line is dumb. Or even using exclusively. Should have put the range of sizes in the campaign. Stick the 10 in there, another girl wearing something in a 16, another in a 20.. etc. Hiding the REAL plus sized girls in favor of a size 10 and ignoring the 95% that are larger than a size 10… dumb marketing.

  79. 79

Re: laurafuckingsaurus – i was thinking that, shes not the usual stick insect but she doesnt look plus sized to me. thats probably a good thing, a normal model

  80. 80

ok i love how its a plus size clothing line, but the models are plus size. everything on there is fugly, except for the first dress.

  81. 81

Well, Yeah for Beth for getting her line off the ground. Big BOOOOOO for Beth for not using a single plus size model. She's enough of a personality she could have pushed for it.

  82. 82

Those models are not plus size. But on them the clothes look alright! They always do on smaller models. Like many I'm a size 6. But, I still think her line
looks pretty nice. (Yes, former model here) I can tell those sizes. I'm sure she
will let some of the heavier models wear them too. Give her time she just need feedback. JMO!

  83. 83

ahhhh plus-sized models. They're only *slightly* underweight!

  84. 84

remember now kids,… BIG girls dont cry !

  85. 85

If this girl is considered "plus size" then America has got it wrong. Granted she is not stick thin like Cokate, but she is not fat by any means, she looks normal to me.
While some of the designs are cute, others, like the purple sequin/legging outfit and the long sleeve shirt dress are completely unflattering and actually make this model look larger than she is.

  86. 86

Ummmm, wonder what it looks like on a plus size person… guess not too well or they woulda used a bigger model.

  87. 87

the more I look at these designs, the more I think, recycled 80's crap.

  88. 88

dude omg I LOVE this collection! It's soooo me. I can never ever find anything to fit me right, just like the plus sized ladies, but I'm at the other end of the spectrum. I'm skinny and that's a bad bad thing when it comes to anything other than high fashion. I mean, I can't even wear jeans!

  89. 89

Oh, and this model clearly Is a Plus-size model. WHAT ARE YOU KIDDINIG you say?? That's just how it is- put a 'normal' ana model next to her and you would see the differentce.
It's very rare for a clothing line targeted towards fat women to actually have them model clothing in the largest size available. DUH

  90. 90

Those models are NOT plus sized. The clothes are cute, though.

  91. 91

LOVE IT! I would so wear this stuff.

  92. 92

Re: laurafuckingsaurus – Same thing I said! I don't even want to know what I would be classified as!

  93. 93

I'd never guessed Beth Ditto would design clothes I'd wear though I'm not plus sized. I really like the stuff!
Those models are 4/6 not more!

  94. 94

    Re: imsoregistered – thats true.

but seriously, just because this model doesnt look completely stick thin isnt the point. it should be plus sized models for plus sized clothing full stop. you wouldnt make an anti wrinkle cream & get an 18 year old to front your adverts right?

  95. 95

ok so heres the thing,,, the fucking models wearing the clothes are NOT PLUS SIZED!! I want to see the fat clothes on fat people to see if it would work for me or not. I dont want to see skinny chicks in clothes thats for big girls, COME ON!!

  96. 96

I love this collection! Very nice and super-fun.

But, I think that a plus-size girl should have been modeling these pieces. The plus-size girls are the demographic for this collection, and one would have proved to be a better representation as to how the clothes would drape, cling, et cetera.

The thinner model is very pretty, but not an accurate representation. Sorry, Evans, better luck next time. :)

  97. 97

i hate beth ditto. but i really like these clothes!

  98. 98

Fucking Hypocrital Slag, where's the plus sized models wearing the clothes???

  99. 99

nothing new or cutting edge -

  100. cls79 says – reply to this

    100

so….the model in the photos is supposed to be plus sized?! holy crap. what is she, a size 6?
