Just in case you forgot, Farrah Fawcett is still dead too. And her BFF Alana Stewart would like to remind you with a book she’s written recounting her 30 year friendship with Fawcett as well as share her point of view on the actress’ final days.
Stewart, who was at Fawcett’s bedside throughout the entire cancer battle, says that she was encouraged not only by Fawcett, but by Fawcett’s life partner, Ryan O’Neal, to write the book. She does admit that she “agonized over the decision,” but you know what cures agony? Money!
My Journey with Farrah A Story of Life, Love, and Friendship is slated for an August release and will contain “a celebration of the incredible bond between the two women, the power of Farrah’s spirit, and the memories from their 30 years together” and “never-before-seen photos and deeply intimate revelations on life and spirituality.”
“Portions” of the proceeds will benefit the Farrah Fawcett Foundation for cancer research.
