As we mentioned first, Jessica Simpson had a pretty shiteous birthday on Friday.
Simpson and boyfriend Tony Romo reportedly called it quits just before Jess’ birthday party this weekend.
And now we’re finding out Jess’ ex might have had a role in the breakup.
Sources claim Romo called it off with J.Simpleton after he found text messages from John Mayer on her phone!!!
Sounds like high school drama to us. Which makes us wonder, why was Romo going through Jess’ phone (no trust?) and what exactly did Mayer say in the messages?
An insider says after Romo flew in on Thursday for her birthday bash, “They were hanging out and he picked up her phone and she got defensive about it. Tony found messages from John and went ballistic. Tony dumped her right then. He walked out and that was it.”
For realz???
