Work it, girl!
Nadine Coyle and fellow Girls Aloud member Cheryl Cole are simultaneous working on their solo musical careers, but Nadine is taking it to the next level.
She has created mucho buzz as three top record labels are said to be in a bidding war to sign her.
"It looks like Universal - a subdivision of the Girls Aloud label Fascination - will produce Nadine's solo shot. But whoever wins her will have to pay a lot because everyone's desperate to sign her. She will get an amazing deal as a result of shopping around," claims a source.
The Irish singer is expected to begin work on her solo project later this year.
We can't wait to hear it!

Politically and geographically, the island of Ireland is divided into Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland but anyone born in either of these two regions is Irish so to say that someone from Northern Ireland is Irish, is in fact correct, whether they identify with it or not.
If you really want to be anal and retentive about such things, it is incorrect to refer to people from the USA American, as there is North America, Central America and South America but non fucktards accept that American refers to Central America.

It's understandable that there's a bidding war over her, as Nadine has the best voice in Girls Aloud. She'll be able to belt it like nobody's business on a solo record!
Don't get me wrong, I love Cheryl Cole to pieces. But I find it unfrotunate that Cheryl will most likely get more attention and record sales than Nadine just because shes the most popular member of Girls Aloud. While Nadina has an amazing voice, Cheryl has one of the worst voices in the group.
Re: The Mancunian Candidate – Whether they are offended or not will not change the fact that if you are born in any county on the island of Ireland, you are Irish and appeasing people who cannot accept this only leads to the shite the goes on today. Unless the come up with a new name to distinguish the two areas people are just gonna have to accept this.
Im pleased for her, she definetly deserves it! She has theeeeee most beautiful voice. Cheryl Cole (as much as I think she's great) has totally overshadowed the whole of girls aloud 2 be honest- as a group it doesn't really work anymore (although they will obvs have to fufill their album obligations they have already signed up 2) bcos Cheryl is such a big celeb now so I think it's good that they are all branching out doing there own things. Wish them all succes as they come across like lovely girls
Thank you Ms Right for saying what I was about to. It astounds me that people are so uneducated when it comes to this. FFS, even Rev Ian Paisley refers to himself as being Irish.
As for Nadine, good for her. In my mind she's the most talented member of girls aloud and clearly record companies agree.

I love Girls Aloud, i have all of their albums and have been to their concert….they are amazing live!!
p.s. I am from Northern Ireland….most of us don't really care what we are referred to, either Northern Irish, Irish or British….which technically we officially are as we are part of the UK.

Nats, I don't mean to be rude but technically you are not British. Britain only consists of England, Scotland and Wales. It's the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; therefore you are and always will be "technically" Irish.

Girls Aloud are MASSIVE in the UK and Europe and are also very popular in Australia and have many fans in America - they just chose never to break America! So maybe you should educate yourself, just because you don't know them doesn't mean nobody else hasn't!
Lastly, I LOVE Nadine - she is a total sweetheat, she alwys goes out of her way to be nice to fans - not only that, she's incredibly talented and beautiful!

Ms Right i'm sorry to tell you that you are WRONG! Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom (unfortunately), however Northern Irish citizens have dual nationality - thus they can chose to identify themselves as either British or Irish and obtain a passport accordingly! So please don't bad mouth people for stating things wrongly when they have in fact stated them correctly!
People from Northern Ireland can chose themselves if they want to be British or Irish and Nadine's refers to herself as IRISH!!!!!! She's from Derry and proud of it! UP THE IRISH! Nadine is fabulous, she's the only one of Girls Aloud that can actually sing so im not surprised there's a bidding war for her! I hope she blows Cheryl's solo shite away.

UK = The countries of Scotland, Wales and England
Great Britian = The countries of Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland.
British Isles = The countries of Scotland, Wales, Endand, Northern Ireland and Repulic of Ireland.
Whether we like it or not, those of use of such origin are born into one of these countries and COLLECTIVELY, irrespicective of which country we identify with, we cannot deny the policitcal boundaries of our birth. To to do only leads to ill feeling etc etc

More indicative of her affiliation is her insistence of putting the Irish flag on the cover of the Girls Aloud greatest hits compilation. It was the Irish tricolors, not the flag of Northern Ireland.
