Kara DioGuardi Speaks Out, But No One Believes Her

We don't care how many times Kara DioGuardi lies about it, we still think she was brought on to replace Paula Abdul.
This morning, the backstabber talked to Ryan Seacrest about the abrupt loss of Paula and of course, she defended herself to no end, while kissing ass the whole way through:
"The way I'm understanding it is that it was her choice to leave. I never was here to replace her. It would be impossible to replace Paula Abdul. She's an incredible talent. She is somebody who helped make the show as big as it is. How could you ever replace that?…If anything, she was really somebody who helped me because it was awkward at times being the fourth person."
And look how you thanked her?! Disappointing, really.
Kara was calling from Denver, the first stop on the audition tour, and admitted to leaving Paula messages, but never hearing anything back. She also said that she hoped that this year people would be "more accepting" of her as a judge.
Wishful thinking will get you nowhere, bb!
You were only tolerated because Paula was still around. We anticipate a lot of backlash for you now that she is gone.

Puhleeze. How can this low rent karaoke reality show have gotten so ridiculously popular that people even care who the judges are? The only stuff I really know about Paula (she was a wack job with a proclivity for abuse of pharmaceuticals) I learned from offensive stories on this site and now Perezite is proclaiming his undying love for Abdul? Comes across as a little insincere at best.
Ill never watch IDOL again,and as for Ryan, hes payed way to much for being a complete asshole……I just dont see way anyone whould think he has an once of talent.
She'll be back and there'll be a big ole lovefest, with Paula doing a lot of crying, and then she and Kara will mud wrestle for the girls spot on the judging panel–and we all know Paula will win, and it will be the best season ever, they will discover the new Michael Jackson or Susan Boil

What a twisted story Perez. She didn't "backstab" her in any way! She was truthful and honest. As far as she knows…she'n not the replacement. Big f'n deal. I loved Kara's comments because at least they came from a musical perspective and she gave them advice they could use. Paula didn't at all. She either kissed every contestant's ass or told them they looked nice when they sucked. That's not judging in my opinion. You are just trying to CREATE the backlash….not cool.
Re: STFU_World – yeah and we hadn't heard about Paula until AI came along. Kara's written or produced more #1 songs than Paula has ever recorded. At least she's respectable in the music industry. Can't say the same of Paula.

Well, I havn't wached AI since probably 2006, but why do people hate Kara?
Paula left the show. she wanted more money. Nothing to do with Kara. Kara's addition caused Paula to up her game - she added words to her vocabulary and sounded half way good as opposed to previous years where she simply told everyone they made it their own and how good their colors were. Kara did a good job last year and while I wish Paula was staying on I can't see blaming Kara.

Most comments I've seen about Kara since she came on Idol have been negative, but the powers that be keep her anyway? I hope there IS a fan backlash, they're the ones who watch the show.

Kara is not a backstabber. She was hired by A.I. It wasn't as if she and Paula were best friends and kicked Paula out on her butt. Paula thinks she is God's gift to music, when it's obvious she is not. Kara was a better judge because she didn't give those sympathy, oh but they are so cute/pretty votes that Paula gave. Kara told it like it was which is what is needed.
I thought I read somewhere that Paula helped Kara and put her up in her own house when Kara was just starting out. Sadly, Kara and Paula's friendship might be collateral damage in this too. I guess Kara has to make her own decisions.
Funny thing is, the one who is going to miss Paula the most will be Simon.
I totally agree with this decision. I don't understand why everyone is hating on Kara. She actually knows what she is talking about!!! Paula had no clue what to say to the contestants as far as music goes, all she did was comment on how they look. This was a great decision for the show, Although, I really don't want to see a lame new guest judge every week either. Just let the new trio do their job.

Perez sometimes you go too far. Why is Kara a backstabber? Why should she turn down the job for Paula's sake. What world do you live in that you think Kara, who may not even be liked by Paula, quit a good paying job, especially in a time of high unemployment. Kara doesn't owe Paula anything. And let's not forget the comments that Paula made about Kara earlier on in the beginning of the season, they weren't positive. For some time now Paula has been making comments that probably upset the American Idol people. I haven't watched the show for a few seasons but now that Paula will be gone I will watch again. I must be one of the few people who doesn't get a kick out of Paula's incoherent comments.

This whole thing reminds me of when the butthead men of television decided that Suzanne Somers was replaceable on Threes Company. The fact is Suzanne wasn't replaceable and neither is Paula. I will not be watching Idol anymore and I hope other follow suit. Its amazing to me the EGOs male execs have. They really are clueless about the draw of a woman. Idiots.

I think Paula was out long before this all happened. This story was fabricated to make it all look less harsh for Paula. Paula is lucky her erratic behavior, slurring speech, and incoherent rambling didn't get her fired before now.
