Also, calling anyone that has beliefs that homosexual sex is a sin a homophobe, pretty much makes you a bigot.

Tolerance isn't accepting a person's lifestyle or beliefs. Tolerance is how you treat the very people you disagree with.
Gays would be a lot more accepted if they weren't so damned hateful.

My son was so nervous when he told me he was gay. My only question was "What about Michelle?" (his former girlfriend) I could care less if he is gay. I just want my sons to be happy. Parents - be SUPPORTIVE…they're still your kids forever.

Irony occurs when exactly the opposite of your expectations happens. Homophobia is not cool. But society is changing. Once the old phobes die off, the next generation is going to be a lot sharper and accepting of their fellow tax paying gay citizens. Re: marlow – Wouldn't count on it, sweetie. Religious nuts have been using their beliefs to condemn others for thousands of years. The best we can do is to understand that people who adhere to that kind of dogma are in some way incomplete and in need of some sort of reassurance. I grew up in Georgia; I've seen how the church sucks people in. They play a nice guitar song and tell you you're going to heaven and then sneak in comments about how gays and Muslims are going to hell. Why? I have no idea. In Leviticus (where homosexuality is termed an "abomination"), Jews are also admonished not to eat pork or shellfish. And the New Testament was intended to usurp the old anyway, so I don't understand why hard-core Christians choose to hate homosexuals anyway.
