Leonardo DiCrapio's girlfriend, Bar Rafeli is not winning any friends in her home country.
The model said earlier this week that she would never take any famous friends to Israel after the paparazzi there hounded her and Leo during their recent visit.
Now, Rafaeli is thumbing her nose at all the Israelis - male and female - that have to be part of the country's mandatory military draft.
"I don't regret not having been drafted . . .because I made out big," she told an Israeli paper this week. "Why is it good to die for one's country? Isn't it better to live in New York?"
You may wanna stay in New York for a while. They don't want you to visit back home!

wait isnt that true? i am jewish i have lived in israel and trust me most of them feel that way after fighting a 50 + year war with no end in sight. Its a nice thought that people have a false sense of obligation based on honnor as they do in this country but the truth is that people die in war, people are paralyzed mentally after seeing war especially fighting. There is much more opportunity in the world and chances for these young adults to learn and grow, which in many ways can be of great significance to the view of israel as a country especially if someone is representing in a positive light. The army and the men and women who make it up are some of the bravest/ hardest fools ever, they have a sense of real pride for their country and thats why they have been giving their sons and daughters to the cause of the homeland for so many years. They want peace, they need peace, but the chances of getting peace arent as certain.
After seeing friends, families, and fellow jews die everyday its a different world. Mothers and fathers have lost children 4 years and they still have no send them off at 18. The question is, not why Bar didnt go to the army but why the people who support constant warfare "the religious orthodox" dont go to war? I think that the israeli's are a bit more concerned with why the strongest advocates of war are the ones who arent fighting.
