If only he could make lawsuits disappear!
David Copperfield is being sued by a Seattle woman who claims that the magician sexually assualted and threatened her while she was staying at his private island in the Bahamas.
The 22-year old model and pageant queen met Copperfield at a show in 2007 and later that year, spent some time with him on the island.
Although no criminal charges have been filed, the lawsuit was filed on the exact deadline for the two-year statue of limitations.
No charges and waiting two years to act?!
Copperfield’s lawyers have the same suspicions, stating the allegations are “extortion for money, plain and simple.”
We bet this feels like being chained under water with no escape!
