LeAnn Rimes was involved in a hit-and-run?!?!

On Thursday, Rimes was questioned by the Los Angeles Police Department after she was accused of a misdemeanor hit-and-run.
Officials today have revealed that an accident took place in Brentwood at 7:45 p.m. on Montana Avenue. Officers then went to LeAnn’s home to question her involvement.
If the cops think there’s enough evidence to make a case out of it, they’ll then forward it to the Los Angeles City Attorney├óΓé¼Γäós office.
No further details have been released, though, and Rimes’ people have yet to comment.
Rimes was driving a 2009 Audi when she reportedly crashed into a 2006 BMW which was stopped in a left turn lane.
How shady of her to crash and take off!
Update: PerezHilton.com has just received word from LeAnn’s publicist. We were told, “There was a├é┬ároutine police investigation into├é┬áthis incident, and a police report was filed. We are confident that this matter will be resolved shortly├é┬áand LeAnn will be cleared.”
