Spies witnessed the father of eight checking out some pretty $$$$$$ jewelry inside the MGM Grand in Vegas over the weekend, to which Gosselin “seemed most interested in the engagement rings.”

Gosselin ended up purchasing a ring called Heart of Fire: “It has .98 carats of diamonds and is white gold with two rows of stones,” a source at the jewelry store dished.

The source thinks that Hailey “will be very impressed” by the ring, but we know who won’t be impressed!

No wonder Kate is pissed at Jon for blowing all the $$$$$$$$$!
