Though this summer’s box office sales boasted the highest grossing ever, there were some films that were not feeling as much love as they were hoping.
While blockbusters like Harry Potter, Transformers, and The Hangover worked their magic to bring in big bucks, flicks like Bandslam, Away We Go, and Eddie Murphy’s Imagine That didn’t pull in nearly as much as they had hoped – not even enough to cover the costs of the film!
But the biggest bomb this summer?
The Will Ferrell comedy Land of the Lost.
It had a starting price tag of $100 million dollars, but in the end, it barely made half of it back, raking in only $62 million.
That’s just sad!
Guess Will isn’t the draw he once was!
