Because of your mention of Robyn before, I logged on to You Tube and took a listen to some of the other singles from her album…I especially loved "Kinichiwa Bitches" and ordered the album from Amazon…it is exceptional and I recommend paying the extra money for an import. Just an excellent album all the way around.

recent #1 single in the UK, "With Every Heartbeat". Yeah, she beat out Kanye's
Stronger that week they were first released. Song is amazing and it's now
responsible for giving the album a second life.
2. She releases her music now on her own independent label, Konichiwa Records
She has no time modern day crap, she's too good for that.
3. Madonna's Human Nature vid (love how NO ONE remembered what that video was for) was actually a ripoff/homage itself to a famous Warhol Factory shoot
done by David Bailey in the late 60s. It featured Edie Sedgewick. It seems Robyn
is paying a little homage to that and to Edie (the FAKE eyebrows and all).
4. Again I really love the little troll that said, "she hasn't had a hit in 10 years". LOL. Um, not here maybe but the US is quite devoid, eh?
5. I wish Robyn would continue her collaberations with The Knife and Kleerup
6. If you don't know Jens Lekman, be prepared. He's lovely.

I'm from Sweden and this song is old here. In the original video it's Robyn dress like the hiphop princess she is, walking the streets with a gang of ghetto kids from the suburbs. I thing that video is so much better than this, more authentic, more Robyn, the way we know here. But i appriciate the art elements in this one…
