We’ve just gotten our hands on these first character posters for the upcoming film Where The Wild Things Are, based off the 1963 children’s book by Maurice Senda.
If you aren’t familiar with the story, it deals with a young boy named Max who, after having a harsh fight with his mother, adventures out with some mystical creatures called “the wild things.”
It was actually a widely controversial book back when it was first published due to the fact that it was so thematically dark and considered too violent for young readers.
But judging at how flawless these images are to the illustrations from the book, we think it’ll live up to the fan’s expectations.
The flick stars James Gandolfini, Catherine O’Hara, and Alice Parkinson.
