Pay attention, Kanye West! This is how a class act handles themselves.
Taylor Swift is talking about the rude and bizarre incident last night involving Kanye West and all the while remains as humble and as professional as ever.
When asked about the moments on stage, she replied:
“Well, I was standing on stage because I was really excited because I had just won the award. And then I was really excited because Kanye West was on stage. And then I wasn’t so excited anymore after that.”
She needn’t fret much though, since only minutes after the stunt occurred, celebs in every direction began to show their support for her:
“I’ve been getting so many text messages and everybody’s been really nice. So I’ve had a really, really fun night. It’s been interesting definitely. It’s definitely been an interesting night.”
But while her friends and colleagues share a support for her and a distaste of Kanye, she herself harbors no ill-will:
“I don’t know him, and I’ve never met him, so… I don’t want to start anything because I had a great night tonight.”
And that’s how you keep things classy! Hope you’re taking notes, Kanye!
