Beyonce Is Amazing, Will Make You Cry!

At a concert in Sydney this weekend, Beyonce picked a very special girl from the audience to come on stage with her as she sang the touching power ballad Halo.
Little Chelsea is suffering from Leukemia and the lyrics to the song took on a much deeper poignance as Beyonce sang them.
There was not a dry eye in the house!
Watch the very very very touching moment that has left us sobbing and teary-eyed mess (above).
P.S. Music can heal. It can!

Aww touching. My heart goes out to the little girl. However I refuse to kiss any celebs ass when they do stuff like this because so many celebs lately have an agenda and every step and move in their careers are so contrived and planned by their handlers and PR people to get their artists more publicity, it's kind of disheartening. Matthew Knowles knows exactly how to strike a chord.But this moment is about that beautiful child. Its nice that lil girl got her wish granted and I pray she doesn't suffer. She is an angel. I saw Beyonce in concert in Sydney Saturday night and I had a new found respect for her then, after seeing this - she's in a class all of her own - amazing

That's a nice thing to do for little Chelsea. I think some of the comments on here are a little harsh. At the end of the day whether Beyonce wanted to get an emotional reaction from the crowd or not (though I very much doubt this is the case), for that little girl those few moments on the stage made her dreams come true. Yes it's unfortunate that the song refers to halos and fading away but I doubt Beyonce's intentions were to suggest the death is just around the corner. I think she just wanted to personalize the song for the little girl. Is it THAT hard to believe that she genuinely wanted to do something nice for someone? Give B a break you cynical people.
Anyone who has read my comments knows that I am usually hateful and cynical, but that was beautiful. God bless Chelsea and Beyonce.

If anything, this song is encouraging this young girl to stay strong. Secondly…..Beyonce does NOT push her off the stage and she gives her an extremely long hug. Chelsea probably looks up to Beyonce greatly…and Beyonce probably didn't have anything to do with her having make up on. The fans are ALWAYS blowing in her concert. They are'n going to turn them off for one song, because it probably wasn't planned. Stop hating on Beyonce, she has done nothing but great things and touched the lives of SO many people. Music can make people have a completely different outlook on any situation…..bring back memories and make people feel good. Music DOES in fact heal, Music Therapy degrees are being given at several Universities all over the globe. Before you go saying "music don't heal shit", look at your facts. Music is a universal language that speaks to EVERYBODY.

I think a lyric that reads 'I hope you don't fade away' is pretty unequivocal, and halos, if you subscribe to that particular worldview, belong to angels, beings from heaven, which is where DEAD PEOPLE GO, if you believe in that. Of all the songs Beyonce could have sung to that little girl, why on earth did she choose that one? Sing to a an ill, possibly dying girl about …yeah, death and dying. Great idea, Beyonce, that's really going to help her. Crass in the extreme. Why not choose a happy song for her? Did you stop to think that that might have been why Chelsea was crying?
And I;m not hating anything other than sheer mindless drooling fawning over a woman who chooses to make a wholly inappropriate gesture towards Chelsea. Chelsea is not an angel, she's just a sweet, ill little girl; Beyonce is not classy for doing this. I think I am the only one that thinks it is inappropriate. If she sang that song to my sick child I would be furious. "hope you don't fade away" How scary that may be for her to hear. I think it would have been nice if she sang a different song to her. What a publicity moment for Beyonce. Finding a sick child to sing Halo to. I really do like Beyonce. I just think it was inappropriate.

I'm sure Chelsea was hugely excited to be with Beyonce and I'm not denying that for a moment - I'm just questioning why Beyonce chose to sing the song she chose - monumentally inappropriate, and why it all had to be so mawkishly done. And your defintion of class and mine clearly differ. Beyonce could have done this privately with Cheslea, away from the crowds and the cameras, but no, she turns it into a spectacle. A spectacle in which Chelsea looks hugely uncomfortable - just look at Perez's screengrab, for goodness' sake - does she look comfirtable there? Okay, she sings along and she clearly wants to be with Beyonce - but in this situation? Alone and exposed on a stage?
