In response to Britney's request for an emergency court hearing to ask for more custody of her sons, Kevin Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, released the following statement exclusively to PerezHilton.com:
"The fact that a party, one week after a full court hearing, attempts to change the orders of the court, in the absence of an emergency or without any new facts, suggests a continued lack of respect and understanding for what an order of the court actually means."
He has a point!

I hope the court will not give in to her requests. Britney needs to show some respect for the court's decisions. Just because she is this freaking immature tartlet who decides overnight that she really misses her kids, she now decides to get her lawyer to file a request to the court. GIRL, you really have to work harder and it and show to the world that you are really a fit mother ! A leopard doesn't change its spots overnight!
I agree with Prezerrrs… if a normal parent lost custody of both of her children (and wasn't a celeb), and only passed 2 random drug tests (don't forget the 1 drug test she failed to even take!), she should not be rewarded for 1 week of obedience. Unfortunately in this world, parenting should be a privilege; not a right. Britney lost her kids not only because she was a "frequent and habitual drug user", but MAINLY because every single thing that the court asked her to do, she decided not to do it. She didn't even sign the court documents that specified her required actions to keep joint custody! Drug testing, drug counseling, parenting classes, driver’s license (which she didn't even get until AFTER her kids were taken away), etc. And are we all forgetting that Britney is now facing criminal charges for that hit and run "oopsies" that she recently decided didn't warrant her following the law by writing the vehicle owner a note?
Habits statistically take AT LEAST 30 to 45 days to form… which would also apply to breaking bad habits. And now Brit Brit thinks that being "good" for 1 week out of 2 years of parenting warrants her to changing the rules. It don't work that way, sugartits.

Re: Shireen – I agree. One week is not nearly enough time to prove you've learned your lesson. Even the worst addicts can clean up for one week. I agree that K-Fed is nowhere near a perfect father, but unfortunately for those kids, he's the best choice for them right now. I'm sure having her mother around will help her a lot, but she still has to prove she's able to provide her kids with a (somewhat) normal and healthy environment.
