Pussies On A "Break" (Officially)!

Who didn’t see this coming?!

For some time now, rumors have been flying around that the Pussycat Dolls were on their way out of the biz. Talk of jealousy and envy amongst the girls, especcially towards Nicole Scherzinger, have led many to believe that the girls would soon be heading their separate ways.

Well, the time has come, the pussies say, to talk of a ” much-needed break” for the girls. Band member Melody Thornton confirmed that the band was taking some time off from each other, but assures fans they will get back together soon she lies would like us to believe.

Purrs the Cat:

“Yeah, we’re taking a break. No, [we’re not broken up] … everybody keeps saying that, but it’s like, let me see who took a break? Dave Chappelle. Remember when Dave Chappelle took that break? OK, maybe Dave Chappelle’s a bad example. What about, like, Hootie and the Blowfish“

Uh-huh. Okay. We know somebody who should refamiliarize themselves with pop culture during her break!

As to whether there will be a solo album from Melody anytime, she only admits to loving music and that she will “stay true to my passion..”

We did not hear a “no” in there.
