The Cuban-American actress has been a busy bee all around NYC promoting her new flick, We Own The Night, and though she denied those pregnancy rumors during her Tuesday visit to TRL, she did tell Latina magazine (in their Nov. cover story interview) what kind of mami she’ll be, if she had a daughter:
“I would teach her [my daughter] Spanish. But first, I’d study up on mine—it’s Spanglish and very improper. I’m not sure what I would teach her about culture. That’s probably why I don’t have kids yet. I feel like I need to go to Cuba first—whether Castro is in power or not—and figure out some stuff on my own. I guess it would be fun to go with my daughter and find out together.”
Now that's a well-thought out statement.

I come from a latin country because as much as I love my country, I also love the USA. However, if you go to a middle class or higher class neighborhood in a latin country, you'll see that there are places that are beautiful/nice/good places to live in.

I didn't say just the rich live well. Middle class people in SOME latin countries (I certainly can't say all, because I haven't been in all of them), live in nice neighborhoods too.
I don't know about any of those neighborhoods you mentioned, because I have never been in any of them; but I can tell you that I'm latina and I live in La Jolla.
That being said, you could say the same thing about trailer park, after trailer park, after trailer park, full of white trash. Yet I don't think that all whites are white trash, because I don't like to make generalizations.
Uneducated, poor people come in all races. My guess for the reason there are so many latinos in these American neighborhoods is because most of the American country is Latin. I'm sure there are plenty of dangerous ghettos all over the world, and I'd be willing to bet that depending on the geographical area, it'll be full of whatever is closer.
