Well, everyone‘s been making up holidays lately!
In honor of the show’s 20th anniversary, Mayor Michael Bloomberg has officially made September 23 Law and Order Day.
What that means exactly, we do not know.
Actor Anthony Anderson who plays Detective Kevin Bernard had the suggestion of “free doughnuts for the day across the city.”
The cast and crew had a party earlier this week to celebrate the 20th anniversary, with former Law and Order cast members in attendance, including Angie Harmon and Benjamin Bratt.
Anderson adds:
“There were a lot of old cast members there…some I didn’t know. But while I was there, I realized why it’s been so successful for 20 years,it’s because of the love that was there, it was like a family reunion.”
Whatever, congrats.
What we want to know is: what holiday should WE create?
