David Letterman Apologizes To His Wife On-Air

Since he broke the news of his sex scandal with staffers on The Late Show, David Letterman took the opportunity to apologize to those he has hurt because of it, namely his wife.
Letterman taped his first show since the news broke last week on Monday and directly apologized to his wife, Regina Lesko, concluding with the true statement: “I have a lot of work to do.”
Dave also went on to apologize to his colleagues, saying he didn’t think about how his confession last week would affect his co-workers.
We’re sure you could cut the tension with a knife on that set!
We wonder what his wife makes of all this and what’s going to happen next — both for the show and for his marriage.
