Balloon Boy‘s mother, Mayumi Heene admitted to police that the entire debacle involving their son Falcon last week was a hoax!
To pump up the hype around the family in hopes of snagging their own reality show!

According to legal docs, Mayumi says her husband Richard devised the plan two weeks prior to the incident, and the UFO balloon was “specifically made to carry out this hoax” and that both she and Richard “had instructed their three children to lie to authorities as well as the media regarding this hoax.”
Of course Richard Heene is still delusional, with his lawyer stating that Mayumi’s “allegations are cheap” and that there is no actual evidence proving her statements.
