The Bahamian politician whose comments incited a mistrial in the John Travolta case says he’s sorry!
A little too late for sorries!
Picewell Forbes told reporters that the comments he made at an October 22nd Progressive Liberal Party rally were “reckless… and interfered with the course of justice in that case and were further capable of bringing disrepute to the whole administration of justice.”
Forbes had announced to the rally’s crowd that former Bahamian Senator Pleasant Bridgewater was a “free woman” before Travolta’s trial was complete.
So, according to lawmakers, the not-so-bright politician may be held in contempt of court.
Good!
