On the set of his new film, The Love Guru, currently shooting in Canada, Mike has not one but TWO male assistants that follow him around constantly.
Diva!
One bitch boy is his personal umbrella handler, following around the Saturday Night Live and protecting his fair skin from the harmful rays of the sun.
The other ASSistant is always nearby to hold a fresh bottle of water with a straw for sipping.
And, taking the crazy quotient up a notch, Myers has a very weird phobia.
"Mike gets easily distracted by the sun hitting any reflective surfaces, so he makes people run around the movie with black tape to cover each one," says one on-set source. "When filming is outside, the sun moves and before you know it, there's black tape covering everything and people running around with rolls of it."
MM must be spending too much time in his dungeon. He likes it dark and musky!

Mike may suffer from migraines. Light sensitivity is a symptom and a trigger. I suffer the same disease - it's not pleasant and grossly misunderstood.
Oh, please, MANY people carry 2" black photo tape on a movie set. It is normal to cover reflective surfaces. This story is rediculous.
omg! my uncle is working on that movie and apparently mike also doesn't want anyone to look at him, and they told minor workers to leave the set for a while if mike was going to pass through.

seriously, leave mike myers alone. Lord. lol speaking from the p.o.v of a canadian, Mike is one of our best actors/comedians, and i personally love his work and who he appears to be, ugh first the serious hate on avirl and now some major mike disrespect!
this is so ridiculous i refuse to believe any of it is true. who would run around taping shiny things for mike myers anyway? someone had to have said "okay mike, you're a fucking weirdo." i do understand why celebrities make strange requests sometimes though. if a celeb states in his/her contract that they want a bowl of only red m&m's it serves as good measure to see if the venue/media outlet/whatever read the contract and understands it fully, therefore putting the celeb at ease. but mike doesn't strike me as a diva, at all.

mike meyers plays in the same street hockey league that my boyfriend did & was nothing but nice! & come on, how many celebrities play informal sports games with a bunch of twentysomethings anyway? he's just that down to earth. i find this story hard to believe. also, isn't it normal to tape things on sets to make sure there aren't crazy reflections on the actors faces during filming?
i was on the love guru set on monday, where he had bitch one hold his diet coke with a straw… interesting things happened on set that day too- mike got interrupted from shooting a scene when one of the extras (out of 500) proposed to his girlfriend and the entire crowd cheered for them instead of being quiet for mike… then we all wondered whether it was justin timberlake on set in full brown wig and mustach for his role as a goalie for the LA Kings… still not sure, but he was UNDER a guy straddling him. FUN. oh ya, mike also has a HUGE black bodyguard who never leaves his side… seriously he's ALWAYS there. did you know he had a girl fired off set the first day of shooting for looking at him? anyways, bye for now! luv, t.o.X-tra
