So Much For Limited Engagement! This Is It Is Here To Stay!

Not that we didn't see this coming as soon as they said it would only run for 2 weeks, but still.
It was just announced that the Michael Jackson documentary, This Is It, will remain in theaters through Thanksgiving weekend.
In a press release that was probably drafted up weeks ago, the chairman of Sony Pictures, Jeff Blake, explained:
"In just 5 days, Michael Jackson’s THIS IS IT has become the highest grossing concert film of all time and we are elated by the response to this special film by fans, critics and moviegoers from all over the world. With this kind of global response, it’s clear that the motion picture deserves an extended run and we are going to do everything we can to make the film available to everyone who wants to see Michael Jackson’s THIS IS IT on the big screen."
Judging by this weekend's turn-out, we think Jeff and the suits over at Sony are really over-estimating the interest in this movie.

Perez and Critics: See the Film! Then decide. I believe you will be amazed, mezmerized and elevated because this is one of the greatest dance documentaries ever made (best I can recall) and you cannot help but be moved by the genius on display. The man you thought was weak, was really strong, the man you think is a pervert is filled with pure love and the man you think is immature is a gifted teacher. I can't say enough about the film except SEE IT - you will be happy!

this was planned from the begning to make people want to come even more just like the this is it tour it started off with only 10 shows then they made it 50. its all a plan to make money… michael is still alive
1)Perez, MJ had more talent in his little finger than you have all together!

3)The movie is more than great! When it was finished everyone in the theather was clapping and even standing up!
4) the most important thing i wanted to say:WE TOOK HIM FOR GRANTED! now that we know what we lost we are trying to keep him alive in our memories in every way we can and that is what the haters dont comprehend!
Goood!! Make this a HIT. And more news of MJ.. Hes got another one #1 album in the US. His album "This is IT" came in a the number one spot. Goo MJ!
