Is it possible that Howard gave Anna drugs when she was pregnant to hurt or kill the baby? If the baby died in utero, taping Anna in that state would have been powerful proof that she abused drugs during her pregnancy. Eventually Daniel died from drugs, right? Maybe Howard's plan all along was to eliminate her heirs, or to use that tape to blackmail her.

seeing this tape in its entirety where you hear the little girl is obviously concerned about what is going on and hearing Howard obviously registering the $ signs at what he was videotaping, is new.
