I think that Howard was feeding her the drugs and wanted her to become mentally incompetent so that he could threaten to take away Dannielynn and was going to use this tape to do just that. I am so incredibly convinced that Howard had something to do with both Anna and Daniel's deaths. How convient they both die and therefore all of Anna's ownings and money is left to Dannielynn, who at the time was considered Howard's daughter. Once he has a full custody of the baby, it is alimony and child support haven for Howard.

I've been suspicious of him ever since he hired his own private doctor (a very shady doctor) to perform the independent autopsy on Daniel. If he didn't have anything to hide, he would have let a doctor that wasn't on his payroll do the autopsy.
