Since Britney Spears landed in Australia there has been non-stop criticism from the media about her lip-synching her show. The world responded with a collective, “DUH!”
And now the pop princess herself has something to say:
“I hear there is a lot of controversy in the media about my show. Some reporters have said they love it and some don’t. I came to Australia for my fans!”
Simply stated. That’s Britney for ya!
Brit Brit is gearing up to play 3 sold out shows in Melbourne starting tomorrow, but in the meantime has been taking in the sights of the city including doing some Christmas shopping.
Aussie DJ Havana Brown has been the opening act for both the European and Australian legs of the tour and she was surprised by the reaction to Britney’s show in Australia:
“I think it’s quite well known that she has lip-synched in the past. I don’t think it’s any surprise to anybody. There was nothing like that in Europe. I think everyone knew what they were in for, and I think everyone should know here as well. I’m not quite sure what the fuss is about.”
And neither are we!
But it sounds like Britney doesn’t give a shiz!
