Probably not, since Paranormal Activity was running the box office at the time, but despite the piss poor returns on the latest installment of the Saw franchise, the studio behind it is ready to forge ahead on the next one.

In fact, the studio is so determined for the seventh installment, they are even shelling out the funds to put it in 3D! That costs a pretty penny. But the execs at Lionsgate think it is worth it, as it is a franchise that continually brings in a profit for them.

Vice Chairman Michael Burns was quoted saying: “As long as we make money on it we’ll keep doing this.”

Wow. So, we guess your kids we’ll be enjoying Saw VVI! How exhausting and ridiculous!
