Celebutards Beware! YouTube Has Found New Ways To Expose Your Antics!

As we all know, oftentimes it is the fans of celebrities who happen to get the best footage of their craziness! A flubbed line in a concert, a public display of drunkenness – these are the kinds of gems that normal folks capture with their iPhones everyday.

Now, YouTube and several major news outlets are joining forces to make it easier for regular citizens to send in these newsworthy videos directly to them!

YouTube Direct will allow news organizations to post out alerts for certain story footage and allow regular people to submit their videos for consideration. Of course, the companies are marketing this more as a ploy to connect with their viewers and make them apart of the process, not exploit them for their easy access. They also insist that they are more interested in obtaining actual news footage like a natural disaster or “rowdy behavior at political town hall meetings.” (Who the hell wants to watch that?)

Some of the news outlets involved as of now are NPR, Politico, the San Francisco Chronicle and a couple of Boston TV stations.

But give it some time to break in. Soon enough, these pages will be flooded with videos of Amy Winehouse passing out on a curb or David Hasselhoff screaming at a valet or Lindsay Lohan puking on someone’s shoes.

Because really, that’s the only kind of news that matters to you, right?
