Palin's book moved 300,000 copies on its first day, which is comparable to the 400,000 copies sold of Bill Clinton's memoir, My Life, and tops Hilary Clinton's first day numbers of Living History, which sold 200,000 copies in 2003.

I'm proud of Sarah Palin for voicing her opinion, regardless of if you agree with her or not. If the media bashed all the stupid things Obama said, it just wouldn't be fair, right? It's okay for people to jump at the first comment that a republican in the media says, but Obama says something stupid and it's buried and hidden from the public on networks like CNBC. Palin heard fans were camping out in Roanoke, VA to get to her book signing for this morning. She had her bus swing by and she got out and thanked them telling them it reminded her of her camping out times and tailgating times but felt bad she was headed to her warm hotel. The fans were thrilled she came to see them.
Perez, her book was on the top seller list weeks ago. Americans respect her. The media makes big bucks $$$ bashing her. The media is not AMERICA.

Got mine in the mail a few days ago. The writing isn't stellar, but her story is very interesting and her attitude is inspirational. Alas, the libs wont even give her book a chance because their leaders Jon Stewart and Keith Olbermann have instructed them in what they can and cannot read/watch/say in order to remain one of the "cool kids". Maybe someday the liberals in this country will drop the uneducated knee-jerk reactionary attitude and actually make some decisions for themselves.

I'm neither a Republican nor a Democrat, I don't live in the US, but of course the book sells well! Not because it's any good, but because people want to see if she mucks up in writing as well. And it's not just conservatives buying the book, I think a whole load of 'haters' will buy it just to get new material to bitch about. And they will find quite a lot! All Palin does is bitch and moan about everybody else, she herself (according to her book) was never at fault.
Better titles would have been 'Unfair' (with a crying Palin on the cover) or 'It Was Them, Not Me!' There's nothing in there we didn't already know and the only funny thing about the book is that it (once again) shows that Palin lacks the ability to reflect on herself. Shame really, this book would've been THE opportunity to change that idea.
I think the fact that her book is selling just goes to show how stupid people are. She's a complete idiot. She is not intelligent and is clinging to a past reality that will never be feasible in this modern world. She is completely irrelevant and really has no place in modern politics. She was only selected to run for VP because she's a conservative woman. But, guess what? She and her dead GOP part lost the election. Why is she still around? Why do people like Perez call her "sexy"? Her party completely fucked our economy, environmental standards, education, and human rights. The reason why things are so bad in our country is not because of Obama's supposed incompentence, but because Bush et al screwed things up so bad. Obama has been effective in that he has prevented the situation from completely collapsing on itself. Regardless, Palin is a false sense of America and I think her book will soon be in the 50% off section at Borders.

This country is NOT overwhelmingly conservative. Look at the last presidential election. This country is actually very moderate, which means that most folks will go for the conservative position on some issues and the liberal position on others. Politicians who understand this win national elections. Right now, among the Republicans I know Sarah Palin is about as popular as Ralph Nader was after the 2000 elections. Her supporters are very high profile and vocal, but there aren't as many of them as they like to think.
